How a club night runs in RaceLyx
Qualifying, mains, and results follow the program your racers already know, with less work at the timing table.
Qualifying on the clock
Timed qualifying heats rank each class by best consecutive laps, most laps, best lap, or total time.
Mains seeded from qualifying
Mains fill from the qualifying order, and the top finishers in each lower main bump up to the next one.
Mains to a lap count
Set the laps for each main, for example C 15, B 20, A 20. The leader takes the flag at the count and every other car finishes the lap it is on.
Heat sheets on paper or the TV
Print lineups and results from the Print hub, or put the heats page on a TV in the pits. Racers can scan its QR code to check their heat.
Results where racers look
Results go to your track page on live.racelyx.com and to anyone following your track in the RaceLyx app for iPhone and Android.
An easy seat at the timing table
Race control uses big, clear screens, so the volunteer at the timing table can read the running order and the clock at a glance.
Track layouts for clubs that rebuild
Add each layout by name, such as Figure 8 or Tight Technical, and pick tonight's from the top bar. Practice, heats, and mains are filed under it, track records are kept per layout, and results, printouts, and the public site all show which layout was run.
A race day with several classes
- Each class gets its own mains, seeded from that class's own qualifying.
- A bump-up stays in its class and starts at the back of the next main up.
- Laps for each main, and a different count for a class when you need one: C 15, B 20, A 25.
- Each car has its own transponder, so a driver in two classes is one driver with a car in each.
- Start spots show on the heat cards and in the results.
- Pace on race control and live timing shows where each driver is headed at the race length, as laps/time: 25/2:41.8.

Collect entry fees before race day
Connect your own Stripe in a couple of clicks. Racers pay when they register and the money lands in your account, not ours. RaceLyx takes just $0.25 per paid registration and nothing else. You keep the entry fees.
