By downloading, installing, or using RaceLyx ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

Subject to your payment of applicable fees and continued compliance with these Terms, RaceLyx grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software for your internal race-management purposes.

Home Track - a one-time purchase grants a perpetual license for a single-operator installation. Updates are included for one year from purchase date.

Pro & Club subscriptions - your license is active for the duration of your paid subscription. Upon cancellation or non-payment, the license terminates at the end of the billing period.

New installations receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card is required for the trial. At the end of the trial, you must purchase a plan to continue using cloud and premium features.

You may not: reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software; sublicense, sell, or redistribute the Software; use the Software for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to bypass license enforcement.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Home Track is a one-time charge. All payments are processed through our billing partner. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase - contact [email protected].

Club subscribers may connect their own Stripe account to accept entry fee payments. You are solely responsible for your Stripe account, compliance with Stripe's terms, and applicable laws governing payment collection. RaceLyx charges a $0.50 platform fee per paid registration, collected by Stripe at transaction time.

Your use of the Software and the racelyx.com website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

Race data stored locally on your device is yours. Cloud data (Pro/Club) is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure in the United States.

The core timing software runs locally and is not dependent on our servers. Cloud features (backup, live results, pre-registration) are provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific uptime for cloud services.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. RACELYX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RACELYX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you via email or in-app notice for material changes. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
