Auto-Scene Switching

OBS scenes change automatically.

RaceLyx connects to OBS Studio via WebSocket and switches scenes based on what's happening on track.

Idle : no race active, shows intermission/sponsor content
Practice : practice session running, casual overlay
Race : live race, full position tower and timing
Finished : race complete, final results display
Battle : close racing detected, head-to-head view

Map each state to your own OBS scenes. RaceLyx handles the switching so you can focus on the racing.

Stream Features

Broadcast tools

Transparent Background Overlays

Every overlay renders on a transparent background. Add them as Browser Sources in OBS and they layer perfectly over your camera feed.

OBS Auto-Scene Switching

RaceLyx connects to OBS via WebSocket and automatically switches scenes based on race state: Idle > Practice > Race > Finished > Battle.

Automated Announcer

TTS race announcements pipe directly to your stream audio. Battle detection, position changes, and race starts are all announced automatically.

LAN Scoreboard Server

Port 8080 serves live results to any browser on your network. Point OBS Browser Source at it for instant overlays.

YouTube & Twitch Embed

Embed your stream directly on your track's RaceLyx page. Spectators watch the stream alongside live timing data.

Kiosk Mode

4 auto-cycling views with 15-second rotation. Good for lobby displays, pit monitors, or a second stream scene.

Setup

Stream in 3 steps.

1

Open OBS Studio

Start OBS and set up your camera scenes like normal.

2

Add Browser Source

Add a Browser Source in OBS pointed at your RaceLyx scoreboard URL (e.g., http://localhost:8080/obs/tower). The overlay renders on a transparent background.
