Chapter 5: Live timing

LyxSpotter in the app

In the RaceLyx app, open your track's Live tab, tap Find my car, and LyxSpotter calls your race. You can lock the phone.

The app's LyxSpotter does the same as the web one, and keeps calling with the phone locked. A headset button can ask "Where am I?".

Before you start

  • Your track has a session running.

Step by step

    The Live tab

    The board updates every couple of seconds.

    Find my car

    Pick yourself and LyxSpotter calls your race.

    It calls your race

    Where am I?, Repeat, Mute and Radio check.

    Settings

    Voice, how often, what it calls out, and the headset button.

Tips

  • The app remembers your car per track, and Driving Home uses it to find your heat.
  • HEADSET BUTTON in settings sets what one press does.
  • Every lap, Every other or Only changes.

Troubleshooting

My music stops on iPhone.
Set the headset button to Off to keep music playing.
