End an event

Close out race day with End Event, which saves the event summary to your track history. Find past events on Events and reopen one if you need to.

VideoComing soon. The written guide below has every step.

We are recording this one now. It will play right here when it is ready.

When the last main is saved, end the event. Its summary goes into your track history and RaceLyx is ready for the next one. Results stay in Results either way.

Before you start

  • Every session you want saved is saved.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open the event hub

Check Sessions Saved matches what you ran.

  2. 2

    End Event

RaceLyx says "The event summary will be saved to facility history. If you need it again, reopen it from Events."

  3. 3

    Confirm

The event is no longer active. Home is ready for the next race day.

  4. 4

    Find it later

Each past event has buttons to see its results, reopen it, or delete it from history.

Tips

  • Close for now leaves the event active without ending it, for a two-day meeting.
  • Print the event reports before you end, while everything is in front of you.
  • Reopen this event on Events brings back an event you ended too soon.

Troubleshooting

I ended the event by mistake.
Open Events, find it under history, and use Reopen this event.
