Some courses start and finish in the same place. One loop timing uses a single loop for both: the first pass of a car starts its run, and its next pass stops it.

Before you start

  • A decoder or LyxBridge with the loop at the start and finish.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Race Settings

The timing choices are under How are runs timed?

  2. 2

    One loop: start and finish

The first pass starts the clock, the next pass by the same car stops it.

  3. 3

    Pick the loop

The list shows every gate and decoder RaceLyx can see.

  4. 4

    Review and Apply

Rally Control then times each car from its first pass to its next.

Tips

  • One loop is offered for Best Run and Time Attack, not Stage Rally.
  • Only one car should be on course at a time unless your course is long enough to keep them apart.
  • A car that loops twice by accident can be voided in the Run Log.

Troubleshooting

A run stopped the moment it started.
The car crossed the loop twice at the start. Void the run and re-stage it.
