RaceLyx keeps every passing the decoder sends. If a heat was reset by mistake, or the PC crashed before saving, Recover a heat scores it again from those passings.

Before you start

  • The heat was run with a decoder connected.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Recover a heat

It scores a heat again from the stored passings. The button is on the Live and History tabs.

  2. 2

    When it ran

Each time slot says whether it was saved or has no saved result.

  3. 3

    Who was in it

Untick a pit lane or sector loop.

  4. 4

    How it was run

Timed race, Lap race, Qualifying or Practice. Tick "Cars finish the lap they are on" for a normal finish.

  5. 5

    Rebuild and save

File it under the event so it counts in the event results.

Tips

  • Set the green flag time and the last passing to count, so warm-up laps do not sneak in.
  • Untick a pit lane or sector loop under Decoders to count.
  • Rebuild shows the result before you save it. Rebuild again after changing anything.

Troubleshooting

The rebuilt laps look too high.
The time window starts too early. Move Green flag later.
