Classes group drivers who race each other, like Stock, Modified or 2WD Buggy. Heats, mains, points and track records are all worked out per class.
Before you start
- First-run setup finished.
Step by step
- 1
Open Classes
Each row shows the class name and its timing settings in words. Click a row to see and register its drivers.
- 2
Add a common class
The "Add a common class" card offers classes like 17.5 Touring, USGT, 2WD Buggy, 4WD Buggy, Short Course, Stadium Truck, Stock, Modified and Novice. Classes you already have are not listed.
- 3
Or make your own
The New Class form opens. Only the name is required.
- 4
Name and colour
The colour shows on the heat sheets, the timing screen and the TV, so pick ones that are easy to tell apart.
- 5
Create Class
You can come back and change any setting with the pencil on the row. To delete, use the bin; that removes the class and its registrations, but never the drivers.
Tips
- The common classes come with sensible timing settings. You can edit them afterwards.
- Give each class its own colour so it is easy to spot on the heat sheets and the TV.
- Sort Order decides the order classes appear everywhere, including which class runs first.
Troubleshooting
- "Class name is required".
- Type a name before Create Class.
- Deleting a class removed its registrations.
- That is expected: the drivers stay, only their entries in that class go. Re-enter them on the class row.
