Notifications writes the message for you and hands it to your email app, or copies it for a text. RaceLyx does not send anything itself.

Before you start

  • Pro plan.
  • Driver emails on their member or registration records.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open Notifications

    Send heat calls, results and event reminders by email or SMS.

  2. 2

    Pick a type

    Fill in the Event Name and Heat Name variables.

  3. 3

    Recipients

    Additional emails are comma separated.

  4. 4

    Send it your way

    Message Preview shows the subject and body.

  5. 5

    Edit the templates

    Click a variable badge to copy it, then Save.

Tips

  • Templates use variables like {{driverName}}, {{heatName}} and {{eventName}}.
  • Additional emails takes a comma list, for parents.
  • The Log keeps what you prepared, marked Opened in email app or Copied.
  • Automatic sending is coming later.

Troubleshooting

Nothing happened on Open in Email Client.
Windows has no default email app. Set one, or use Copy SMS Text and paste it.
