Unfinished session after a crash

If RaceLyx closed during a heat or rally, Home offers the unfinished session: Resume to carry on, or Discard to start clean.

Power cuts and crashes happen. RaceLyx keeps the session as it runs, so after a restart Home shows Unfinished session. Resume carries on where you were.

Before you start

  • Nothing.

Step by step

    Unfinished session

    It names the session, like a heat or a rally.

  2. 2

    Resume

    You land back in Race Control or Rally Control.

  3. 3

    Or Discard

    RaceLyx asks "Discard this race?" or "Discard this rally?". Keep it backs out. This cannot be undone.

Tips

  • Resume first, then decide. You can always reset afterwards.
  • Discard asks first. Keep it backs out.
  • A lost heat can also be rebuilt from passings with Recover a heat.

Troubleshooting

I discarded it by mistake.
Use Results, Recover a heat to rebuild it from the stored passings.
