RaceLyx is already open

Only one copy of RaceLyx runs at a time. Opening it again just brings the open window to the front, so two copies never fight over the decoder.

If you click the RaceLyx icon while it is already running, nothing new opens: the window you already have comes to the front, even if it was minimised. Two copies would fight over the decoder and the display port, so RaceLyx prevents it.

Before you start

  • The installed RaceLyx.

Step by step

    RaceLyx is running

    Only one copy runs at a time.

    Open it again

    No second copy starts.

Tips

  • Lost the window? Click the RaceLyx icon again and it comes to the front.
  • Check the taskbar for the window before restarting the PC.

Troubleshooting

Clicking the icon does nothing.
RaceLyx is already open, maybe on another screen. Press Win + P to check your screens, or look in the taskbar.
