The display server normally uses port 8080. If another program already has it, RaceLyx tries 8081, then up to 8090, and tells you the new address. TVs on this PC follow by themselves.

Before you start

  • Nothing.

Step by step

  1. 1

    The warning

"Port 8080 is in use by another program, so the display server is on port 8081."

  2. 2

The running card shows the address in use.

  3. 3

    Update your devices

TVs on this PC follow by themselves.

Tips

  • Phones, tablets, a Stream Deck and OBS browser sources need the new address.
  • Next launch tries 8080 again.
  • Set a different port yourself on Displays before you start the server.
