Pre-registration lets drivers sign up from home on your public RaceLyx page. Their entries wait here until you approve and import them. It needs the Pro plan, or Home Track with an active cloud year.
Before you start
- Pro plan.
- RaceLyx Cloud on, so your registration page is online.
Step by step
- 1
Open Pre-Registration
The left side holds the settings: status, link, fee, payment link, required fields and classes. The right side lists the sign-ups.
- 2
Open registration
Open means drivers can submit. Closed stops new sign-ups but keeps what you have.
- 3
Share the link
It is your public online sign-up page on racelyx.com, so drivers can open it from anywhere. They pick the event, fill in name, car number, class and transponder, and agree to your waiver.
- 4
Add one by hand
Fill in Driver Name, and any of email, phone, transponder, car number and classes.
- 5
Approve
Approve adds the driver, their cars and their class entries, and enters them in the running event. The same Approve is on Drivers, Online Sign-ups.
Tips
- Approve adds the driver to your roster and enters them in the running event, in one click.
- Approve All Pending clears a queue fast on race morning.
- Required Fields lets you insist on phone, transponder or car number.
- Sign-ups from a driver's own profile also show on Drivers, Online Sign-ups.
Troubleshooting
- Entries from the website are not showing.
- Online sign-ups come from RaceLyx Cloud. Check you are signed in under Settings, RaceLyx Cloud.
- Pre-Registration says it is part of the Pro plan.
- It is. Walk-up registration and check-in work on every plan.
